As a mother, I understand. We wait, hoping someone—often our husband—will capture those sweet, candid moments of us with our babies. But more often than not, it doesn’t happen. We have to ask, which makes it feel forced. So eventually, we stop asking… and we end up missing from the photos.
Instead, we settle for selfies—because that’s all we have. I know this from personal experience. When I look back at my photos, most of them are selfies. Rarely do I see those genuine, unposed moments of me simply being present with my children.
That’s why, when I want to be in the pictures—fully present, without worrying about capturing the moment myself—I hire a photographer.

I am a 25-year-old work-from-home mom to two little ones. My passion for photography has always been a part of me, but it truly came to life in 2023 when my husband surprised me with my first professional camera for Mother’s Day. From that moment, my journey as a photographer took off.
